The Paris Place de Droit Connect platform allows you to send invitations and track your Guests’ responses.

Important: All invitations must be managed through the platform. This ensures that participant numbers can be monitored, event capacity limits are respected, access badges are prepared and issued, and attendance is recorded on the day of the event.

Invitations are managed on an RSVP basis: each Guest must confirm their attendance for their registration to be considered final.

Step 1 — Access the invitation console

  1. Sign in to your Partner account on Paris Place de Droit Connect.
  2. If necessary, click “Sign in” in the menu on the Paris Dispute Resolution Day website.
  3. From your account menu, click “Invitations”.
  4. Select the event for which you wish to invite participants.

Step 2 — Create an invitation

Click “Add a Guest”, then complete the form with the requested information about your Guest.
Once the form has been completed, you can choose between two invitation delivery methods.

Option 1 — Send the invitation via the platform (Recommended)

Click “Send an invitation”.

Your Guest will receive a pre-formatted invitation email containing two response links, allowing them to:

  • Accept the invitation
  • Decline the invitation

You will receive a confirmation email once your response has been recorded.

Sincerely yours,

Paris Place de Droit

The invitation will be added to your Guest list, where you can track its status directly from your account.

This method is recommended to simplify the management and monitoring of your invitations.

Option 2 — Send the Invitation from your own email account

If you prefer to use your professional email account, click “Edit invitation”.
You can then retrieve the invitation text and send it from your own mailbox.
You may personalise the message to suit your relationship with the invitee.

Important: Both response links must be retained exactly as provided. Without these links, your guest will not be able to accept or decline the invitation using the email received.

The invitation will remain recorded in your Guest list on the platform.

Please note: Some corporate firewalls or email filters may block emails sent automatically by the platform. If your Guest does not receive the invitation or fails to respond, we recommend sending it from your own mailbox using the “Open in my inbox” function.

Step 3 — Track your Guests’ responses

Once an invitation has been sent, its status will be updated according to the Guest’s response.

If your Guest accepts the invitation

Your Guest must complete the registration process by following these steps:

  1. Select their participation preferences, including their preferred roundtables, if this option is available.
  2. Review and confirm their personal information.
  3. Complete the creation of their account on the platform, which is required to manage their registration and issue their access badge.

Important: Accepting the invitation by email does not, in itself, complete the registration process. Your Guest must also complete all the validation steps required by the platform. Final registration will be confirmed to the Guest by email. Their access badge will be sent by email a few days before the event.

If your Guest declines the invitation

The invitation status will automatically be updated in your Guest list.

The corresponding invitation slot will then be credited back to your quota, allowing you to invite another participant.

If your Guest does not respond

Do not wait until the response deadline to follow up with your Guests.

You can send a reminder directly from your invitation list by clicking the paper plane icon on the relevant Guest’s row.

This feature allows you to resend the invitation or send a reminder to your Guest.

Understanding your invitation quota

Your account allows you to monitor the number of invitations used and the remaining balance.
Your invitation quota is calculated based on invitations that are awaiting a response (“Awaiting response”) and invitations that have been accepted (“Accepted”).
In practice:

  • An invitation awaiting a response uses one slot from your quota.
  • An accepted invitation continues to use one slot from your quota.
  • A declined invitation releases the corresponding slot, which is credited back to your available balance.

You can therefore check your remaining invitation allowance at any time.

Cancelling an invitation

If you wish to remove an invitation from your list, click the bin icon at the end of the relevant Guest’s row.
Before confirming the deletion, make sure you have selected the correct Guest.
This helps you keep your Guest list accurate and up to date.

Confirming a Guest’s attendance on their behalf

In some cases, your Guest may experience difficulties receiving the invitation or may prefer not to create an account on the platform.
You can then confirm their attendance directly from your Partner Area by clicking the checkmark icon (“Done”) on the relevant Guest’s row.
This feature allows you to complete the confirmation of their attendance without requiring them to carry out the process themselves.

Important: Only use this feature once your Guest has confirmed that they will attend. Please also ensure that all the information required for their registration has been correctly provided.

Best practices for managing your invitations

To help ensure the smooth organisation of your participation in the Paris Dispute Resolution Day, we recommend following these guidelines:

  • Send invitations early: Contact your Guests well in advance to allow sufficient time for them to respond and complete their registration.
  • Use the platform to send invitations : Only invitations created and validated through the Paris Place de Droit Connect platform will grant access to the event.
  • Monitor responses regularly: Identify invitations awaiting a response and send reminders when necessary.
  • Keep both response links intact: If you send an invitation from your own email account, do not modify or remove either link.
